Airimba Service Provided - Quickstart Guide

If your apartment community provides Airimba service as an amenity, just follow the directions below to get online!!

Windows Vista

1. On your Desktop, right click on the network icon to view menu. (Icon is two computers on top of each other).
2. From the menu, select Connect to a Network from the list.
3. Select the Airimba SSID with the strongest signal.
4. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Airimba greeting screen.
5. On the Airimba Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.
6. Click the Sign Up Now button to view the sign-up form.
7. Fill out all fields in the form, read and accept terms and conditions, and click the Create Account button. 
8. Depending on the rules of your property management company, you may have instant access to the internet or be required to wait a short period of time for management approval. After your account is approved, open an internet browser to view the greeting screen.
9. At the top of the greeting screen, you will see an area to enter you login and password. Enter your login and password in those fields to get to the internet with Airimba.

NOTE: Make sure you have your browser set to allow pop-us from Airimba.

Windows XP

1. In the bottom left corner of the computer screen, click on the Start button to display the Start menu.
2. In the Start Menu, click on Control Panel to display the Control Panel dialog.
3. In the Control Panel window, click on Network Connectionsto display the Network Connections dialog.
4. Right click on Wireless Network Connection to view menu.
5. Double-Click on Properties to view Wireless Network Connect Properties dialog.
6. On the General Tab, in the "This connection uses the following items:" list, single click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to highlight it.
7. Click on the Properties button to view the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog.
8. Click the radio button beside Obtain an IP Address Automatically to mark it active.
9. Click the radio button beside Obtain DNS server address automatically to mark it active.
10. Select OK button to close the Internet Protocol Properties window.
11. In the Network Connections window, right click on Wireless Network Connection to view menu.
12. Click on View Available Wireless Networks to open Wireless Network Connection Dialog.
13. Select the Airimba SSID with the strongest signal and click Connect button.
14. Once connected, open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Airimba greeting screen. On the Airimba Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.
15. Click the Sign Up Now button to view the sign-up form.
16. Fill out all fields in the form, read and accept terms and conditions, and click the Create Account button.

Windows 2000

1. In the bottom left corner of the computer screen, click on ,StartM button to display the Start menu.
2. In the Start Menu, click on Control Panel to display the Control Panel dialog.
3. In the Control Panel window, click on Network and Dial-up Connections.
4. Right-click on Local Area Connection.
5. Select Properties.
6. Highlight the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
7. Double-click Properties.
8. Select Obtain an IP address automatically.
9. Select Obtain DNS server address automatically and click OK button.
10. In the Network and Dial-up Connections window, right-click the icon for your wireless adapter interface.
11. Scan for available networks and select the Airimba SSID with the strongest signal.
12. Click Connect.
13. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Airimba greeting screen. On the Airimba Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.
14. Click the Sign Up Now button to view the sign-up form.
15. Fill out all fields in the form, read and accept terms and conditions, and click the Create Account button.

Macintosh OSX

1. In the Apple menu, select the AirPort icon and then select Turn AirPort On.
2. Select Choice from the list of available networks.
3. You will get a pop-up window that asks: Do you want to automatically join the wireless network named? Select the Airimba SSID with the strongest signal.
4. When asked,”in the future?”, select Yes.
5. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Airimba greeting screen. On the Airimba Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.
6. Click the Sign-Up Now button to view the sign-up form.
7. Fill out all fields in the form, read and accept terms and conditions, and click the Create Account button.
